STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: An American Fashionista in Paris
Ah, Paris, a city on the top of every Fashionista or Fashionisto’s list of places to go. I was so excited to be able to peruse the streets and find myself a subject for my article this week, while admiring all of the couture and high end fashions that I will never be able to afford but am happy enough just to be able to salivate over. When I came across this stylish lady outside of the Eiffel Tower, she broke (in one feel swoop of her effortlessly worn scarf) every stereotype of American tourists in a way that made me squeal with glee. Her outfit is timeless but in a modern way that is certainly right up there with some of the top trends this season. Wedges? Scarves? Floppy hats? Wide leg pants? Check, check, check and double check! It is a chic and simple outfit — perfect for fall. The best part? It’s easy to replicate! Oh, and did I mention it perfect for a slew of situations? Going out on a date? Going to an interview for that stylist position you want? Going to class? It’s a perfect outfit for any and all of the above!
